"In the grave of the aged, as one after the other leave us,
is buried forever some tale of by-gone days."

Rev. Elias Owen (1833-1899),
Old Stone Crosses of the Vale of Clwyd

The distinguished antiquarian, Rev. Elias Owen (above), was the eldest son of James Owen and Susannah Morgan. To learn about Welsh traditions he spent many hours talking to the elderly. I hope these pages will encourage you to talk to elderly relatives in order to learn more about their lives and about your ancestry and to enable you to identify people in old family photos ... before this information is forever lost.
