Sarah I Jones
The eldest child of (John) Hayden Jones and Mary Ida Neeper, Sarah I Jones, was born on 13 August 1907 and she married Edward Vincent Doody, the son of Irish immigrants, whose father worked on a farm. [Ancestry family trees] In 1940, Edward was a delivery man and he, Sarah and their three children were living with his parents at 63, James Street, Morristown, Morris, New Jersey. Edward had been born and raised in New Jersey, which is where he and Sarah lived and raised their children.
Edward and Sarah Doody's eldest child was Mary Johanna Doody (b 13 Oct 1931, Morristown - d 6 Apr 2004, Toms River, Ocean, New Jersey).
Edward and Sarah Doody's only son was Edward Vincent (Buddy) Doody Jr.. He was born on 7 April 1933 in Morristown. He married Elinor Jane Follis who had been born in Morristown North on 31 March 1934. The eldest of their five children was Barbara Lynn Doody (5 July 1955, Morristown - 1990 Port Saint Lucie, St Lucie, Florida). Their second child, Laura Jean Doody, born on 28 February 1962, died tragically in 1967:

Elinor Dooley (Snr.) died in 1982 in Freehold, Monmouth, New Jersey and Edward Vincent on 23 August 2003 in Port Saint Lucie, Saint Lucie, Florida.
A four-year-old girl drowned yesterday when she wandered away from a family picnic and fell into a four-foot pool in her back-yard. The child, Laura Jean Doody, was pronounced dead at 5:40 p.m. by Dr. C. Malcolm R. Gilman, county physician. Her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Doody, of Koenig Lane, and seven other persons were in the yard at the time. She was pulled from the pool by her father, but resuscitation efforts by the First Aid Squad failed. Laura was born in New Brunswick and had lived here three weeks. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Edward J. and Nelson R., and two sisters, Barbara L. and Elinor, all at home; her paternal grandfather, Edward Doody Sr., Morristown, and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mabel Baldwin, South River.
